So, I apologize in advance if I sound dumb, that's just how I speak to my dog and how she best responds to me. She has a hard time focusing when she's this excited, which is why she wouldn't play dead(; She is my absolute favorite thing in the world, and means a heck of a lot to me. This is just a clip of what she does normally...especially with her favorite toy - the buoy! We found it while hiking one day around our local lake and she's loved it ever since. She is a 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, Black Lab mix. I got her through my local Humane Society through a foster program with 9 other pups. The owner had a female GSP whom he bred to a pure Black Lab to make a good hunting breed mixture. He left his dog and her puppies in an outside kennel where she tried to escape, and wound up hanging herself by her collar. My mom and I bottle fed the puppies until they were old enough to be adopted out. I found most of them homes before they were even ready to be adopted out(ads on CL and I had them on hold for the perfect people!), all except Pumpkin. Pumpkin was very special to me. I brought her everywhere with me, tucked snuggly inside my robe(it was around October then) and always showed her off. I even brought her to school one day to show to all my teachers and friends, and of course everyone complimented her cuteness. She was the cutest out of the litter, being the runt and being the most vocal(only when you were talking to her or when she needed something), loving ...
